How to Clear YouTube Cache?

Can anyone guide me on how to clear the YouTube cache? I’m having some issues with the app, like slow loading or outdated videos. Any suggestions on how to clear the cache on both the mobile app and desktop version? Would love to hear your tips!

In order to clear YouTube cache, you need to access your device settings, rather than the YouTube itself. In Android, open Settings > Apps > YouTube > Storage > Clear Cache. On iPhone, remove and re-add the application as there is no option of a Cache clear in iOS. To use browsers, use open history and delete cache data.

YouTube does not have an in-app clear cache button and therefore the cache is generally cleared in the device settings or browser. In Android, use your phone to open your phone settings followed by Apps and then tap on the YouTube app after which you tap on storage and then Clear cache. On iPhone one cannot remove cache as overtly and therefore the usual approach is to either delete the app of Youtube or use the option of Offload App in iPhone storage. To clear Google cache Temporal files on YouTube: Open your browser settings on a computer browser and under Clear brow data clear YouTube temporary files.
