How To Check For Viruses On iPhone?

My iPhone has been acting quite weird lately, and I am a bit worried that it might be infected with a virus. Can an iPhone really get viruses? What are the ways to check for viruses on an iPhone and ensure the device's security? Should I use any built-in tools or trusted apps for this purpose?

It is rare for iPhones to get traditional viruses. Instead, you can check your device for problems by seeing if there are any unknown apps installed on it, if there are unusual pop, ups, whether the battery drains rapidly, the device overheats, or if there is strange data usage. You should update iOS to the latest version, delete suspicious apps, and clear Safari history. In case the issues persist, you may reset all settings or do a factory reset that will remove potential threats.

Honestly, iPhones don’t really get traditional viruses because of how iOS is built, but they can act weird from buggy apps or shady profiles just check Settings > General > VPN & Device Management, delete unknown apps, and make sure your software’s updated. I usually restart mine and update it first, and that fixes 90% of the “something’s off” moments.
