How Do You Delete A Message On Snapchat?

I need help deleting a message on Snapchat. I’m not sure where the option is or how it works. Can someone guide me through the steps?

To delete a message on Snapchat, open the chat with the person, press and hold the message you want to remove, then select “Delete”. Snapchat will remove it from both your and the recipient’s chat, though they may have seen it before deletion. This works for text, not snaps.
