How Do I Make Google My Default Browser?

I'm looking for a simple guide on how to set Google Chrome (or any other Google browser) as my default web browser. Can anyone help me with step-by-step instructions for doing this on Windows or macOS? Any tips or shortcuts would be appreciated!

Navigate to the Apps > Default Apps settings on your computer. Choose Google Chrome from the list of installed browsers after finding the Web browser option. In its own settings, Chrome also has a "Make default" button.
