What's the deal with the 'guy pointing at himself' meme? I get how it's used (basically a 'yep, that's me' kind of thing), but where did the original image even come from? Trying to fill in the backstory on these reaction memes I use all the time without actually knowing.

That is the classic Roll Safe meme with the guy tapping his head to give terrible but technically true advice. It is basically the internet way of saying you cannot fail if you never even try
