does blackboard's safeassign use the exact same tech as turnitin for ai detection?
nah, not exactly. from what i've seen/heard, turnitin generally uses a more sophisticated algo for AI stuff, especially with their newer updates. safeassign is decent for plagiarism but i think their AI detection isn't quite on the same level yet.
