curved monitors for productivity

Not only do they increase comfort but they also reduce eye strain and allow you to view wide spreadsheet screens or other window layouts more efficiently by aligning your visual field. They may also enhance productivity slightly while working for extended periods of time.

Curved monitors are good for productivity because they reduce eye strain, improve comfort, and make multitasking easier, especially with ultrawide screens. They’re ideal for working with multiple windows side by side, but flat monitors may still be better for very precise or detailed tasks.

yeah, i totally get what ammy and robin are saying. i've been using a curved ultrawide for my coding setup for about a year now. honestly, for excel and code, i haven't noticed any annoying distortion at all. the curve actually makes it feel more natural to see everything without moving my head as much. i think the distortion concern is more for graphic design or things where straight lines are super critical. for text, it's a non-issue imo.

Ultrawide curved monitors are actually great for Excel and coding because you get a lot more horizontal space to keep multiple windows open side by side, which feels way more efficient than switching tabs; the curve usually isn’t an issue at all for text work on typical sizes (34" etc.) it feels natural after a day or two, and I’ve personally found straight lines don’t look distorted unless you go for very aggressive curves or sit too close, so for most people it’s more of a productivity boost than a drawback.
