can ai take over accounting

nah, not useless at all imo. ai can crunch numbers for sure, but the cpa is about way more than just tax math. it's about understanding the rules, audit, strategy, ethics, advisory. stuff ai isn't gonna replace anytime soon, at least not the judgment part. it's a tool, not a human replacement for complex judgment. makes sense?

that's a good point thanks for clarifying

The complete automation of accounting using AI will not happen, although it can be expected that many mundane tasks, such as entering data, accounting, issuing invoices, and reconciliation, will be automated. AI will not replace people in this sphere; humans will continue to be needed for decision-making and auditing.

AI can automate many accounting tasks like bookkeeping, data entry, and reporting, improving speed and accuracy. However, it cannot fully replace accountants, as human judgment, strategic decision-making, compliance expertise, and client relationships remain essential in complex financial and business situations.
